Just came back in from an interesting nite. Was hanging out up in Broward County, in Pembroke Pines and the Hollywood area, getting a little creep tip on. Shhh...always good to get out and about, a change of scenery. I like it up there, so many restaurants and spots to chill. We had a mini-dinner at this one spot...had some lobster bisque, which was ok. Learnt a lot just from my time in tha joint.
One thing we learned about ourself, is that we have changed big time! I mean, it's Blair Witch dude! We don't know if it's just natural as u get younger with age, but we think that the experiences we've had, is just...opens u up to new things. The places u once visited consistently just don't do it anymore. The folks u thought u could classify as super hot, now just look "a'ight!". Not kidding. It's like when u've been growing up eating foods, and as u get older, u sometimes find, that u're not into the foods that u once slammed! Wasn't even gonna write about this, but Archie bunk it...used to go into spots and was like...still know some classic foods and sandwiches:
- Chicken Tender Sandwich (Burger King)
- BK King
- Daily Double (McDonald's brought that back last year)
- 3 Piece Chicken Meal from Hardee's
- Xtra Large Fries from Rally's (Checkers down south)
- Elephant Ears (Tradition at the County Fair)
....and many more. Even though once in a Smurf moon, I will endulge in some of these items, perhaps for old times sake, it just ain't the same. U feel like it's from an era of yesteryear. It's just not u of 2012. U understand....
So that's what today felt like. Friendship alright, but the environment, is just different homie. Our whole mindset has been transforming over some time now. Each day it's like we're getting stronger in every aspect. Our patience has been tested, our wallet, our social life, health and rest, all of it is helping us to grow and grow. The experiences that broke us down, now as we look back upon there only added fuel to the fire. The people I wished I once coulda hung out with and didn't, now may have actually not been a good fit for us. And where we're going. Talking real as can be right now. We have always just about said this, capture the moment, cuz one day u're gonna look for me and I'll be gone! That's just confidence knowing that we have a life like none other. When I used to hear this or that, we used to quench inside like, "u're sure u wanna miss out on this opprotunity???" But now everything has worked out for our better. As they say in sports, sometimes the best trade is one that never happened. Goes for life as well, sometimes the best thing u can tell somebody is, "No." Those two letters can spur a lifetime of motivation, and save somebody some time and money.
This is no secret, this has been wild as of late. Now what is about to jump off next? More than ever we feel like something unique is on the horizon. Our life has become too weirdo as of late...tonight is a true diary. Anticipation can be a good thing. Done writing...But we will say this...
As things begin to change in one's life, u must let go. If that means eating habits, or old boyfriends, so be it. That doesn't mean get all caviar and forget ur true friends or where u came from. Absolutely not...a helping hand one does not know the source...but if certain things, activities or people are holding u back from ur goals and dreams, they have either step their game up or be poof!! Right now, we are possessed like a little black dress in a girl's closet, to find out why have we gone through some of the stuff we've gone through. It don't make sense. So I think, in reality, all this....this, has gotten us more motivated, more thoughtful, and has risen the standard of living even higher than it was. Tonight was an eye opener bro. Only one who knows how we feel is me and u, diary. Tough to talk to different people cuz they just don't understand. But that's ok...that's why u're here. Been trying to rein in ourselves, so has Above, just remain patient, don't get over anxious. And watch how everything's gonna turn out. Ha! Guess I can't help but wait!
It's all about Love. Special entries with even more stories, some already lived, some not yet...Real topics on Amor, and a whole lotta fun. It's gonna be interesting to write on this topic...in our heart, so let's just enjoy the moment. Just for a moment, think...it may be special...and once in a lifetime.
