A Letter Inked In Gray.

Dear Sir Austino Galaxia:

How much are you willing to pay for greatness?

That's the absolute question of the moment in our life.  How much Austino Galaxia are you willing to sacrifice, and more importantly willing to go through, just to get to the level of life that u've always dreamed about.

I have no idea where your diary is gonna go.  I could begin by talking about so much from this guy playing the drums with a drumstick and cow bell, all the while driving in a Range Rover.  I could begin about seeing a new form of workout here in South Beach that involves a guy with his shirt off and pushing a car in a crowded parking lot.  I could talk about going to a gas station across town only to find this Mamacita that used to work at another gas station, now employed at this one.  One in which has a heart of gold, and if she was a few years younger...I could talk about being part of an ULTRA-select few who was allowed to get a tour of the new Hyde Lounge being built inside the American Airlines Arena.  When I say ultra, I mean that in a basically nobody has seen what this place looks like.  But let me tell you that this is a full blown club, right in the middle of the arena, and know that Miami Heat ball games are gonna be the place to be on and off tha court.  (You have no idea! I will be under the strobe lights dancing the night away after a Heat victory!)

I could begin by talking about how I doubt that anybody not only in tha Galaxia, but in the WORLD has more new, unheard CDs than we do right now.  (Btw it's over 20 right now!)  I'll list them at a later time, but it goes from Harry Connick Jr. to Britney Spears to The System to Wham! to Lady Gaga to Kelis to......I could talk about being in the store on today, and having my hopes up to finding the "perfect" loaf of bread to be sent off for a price check.  Only to find the gentleman come back and hit me with the outstanding price of $6 dollars plus!...I could talk about me running around trying to get my voter registration all taken care off, on the last day of eligibility of course.  Running from home to the library to the Post Office, all in the name of our country.  I could talk about me eating some Chicken Fried Rice and realizing that our bodies are attuned to a specific standard once built upon, and any mega-mini-ounce of anything different from the premium can throw u off.

Yet, I need to talk about how we feel at the moment.  I could talk about seemingly every, single beauty imaginable being around us wherever we go.  I need to talk about how sometimes that makes it difficult to decipher what's real or fake attraction.  I could talk about how we know we have a life and lifestyle so special that we are getting everything we could want.  I need to talk about how we feel like nobody can really truly relate to us anymore.  I could talk about some more stories from our future fame past of how life is so crazy.  I need to talk about us wondering if we made a wrong turn somewhere up the road.  I could talk about some of our boys and how their love stories are so awesome to hear.  I need to talk about sometimes u just wonder if their is a such thang as a love potion.  I could talk about how the struggle can make u stronger beyond words, and how if u can survive "this" you can get through anything.  I need to talk about how sometimes the journey gets too long, and you just wonder, "When?"

I could talk about this ultimate journey to the top.  I need to talk about wondering how would it feel to have no dreams and just be happy with..."Ok."  I could talk about being a trailblazer in a sense, and setting a standard.  I need to talk about once the standard is set, where do you go?  I could talk about being so grateful for all the blessings that keep coming our way without us even asking for them.  I need to talk about being enthused, yet feeling sorta empty because...that's not what we asked for.  I could talk about how our road is so off the beaten path that my jeans are plain dirty from all the bumps and falls.  I need to talk about how those dirty jeans are just a sign that you got back up.  I could talk about the sense of hate and under appreciation I feel sometimes, from people who don't even know me, from us just entering a room.  I need to talk about how one day our name will soon be followed by, "...he once was here."

I could talk about the good ol' days, and how things have changed so much.  I need to talk about how no matter how things change, things still remain the same.  I could talk about giving up, and how u feel like we've ran our course.  I need to talk about the toughest moments are RIGHT before things are about to change.  I could talk about how we're even thinking about moving from South Beach, and do our own thang and move out to Los Angeles.  I need to talk about remaining patient and following The Great Personal Assistant's grand plan.  I could talk about, we've been at "this thang" for so long, and we see no huge changes, so why not just stop.  I need to talk about how those moments when u don't see anything happening are actually the moments to your success.  I could talk about us being on the road and just wishing the drive wasn't so long and crazy.  I need to talk about at least we're driving, and in the land in the living.

I could talk about us writing our final poem in this diary titiled, "Our final at-bat."  I need to talk not about the stroll to the plate, but the crossing of the plate.  I could talk about why do all the good girls have to have a boyfriend?  I need to talk about how all the good girls aren't taken, you're just getting an opportunity 2 hear about love from a "taken" point of view.  I could talk about us wondering will this world ever really, I mean really get to see us at all that we are and could be?  I need to talk about us realizing that our time will come...period.  I could talk about us being so bitter over some past relationships and how we've felt kind of burnt by so called friendships and how it'll never be tha same ever again.  I need to talk about how you can't judge an apple basket, by one or two or thirty bad apples, when u're really only after that one apple that's truly ripe, which makes all the digging worth it in the end.

I could be writing from a future standpoint of how it will be.  I need to do that, but relay the standpoint of what is.  I could make this diary post into a "Me, Me, Me."  I need to realize that others feel the exactly same way I do, and this is for them.  I could say, "Hey, be normal, being yourself in this world just ain't worth it in the end."  I need to talk about when you don't feel comfortable in this world, u create something even bigger, like a Galaxy.  I could talk about hasn't the points been made time and time again that you'll never see anything like this again.  I need to talk about we still have something to prove, and no matter what is said, we won't be satisfied until... I could talk about how life never changes.  I need to talk about how life is as wacky as me watching Dusty Baker managing against your childhood team the San Francisco Giants, the team he was in charge of for so many years.

I could begin by saying this is it.  I need to talk about us always being tied together no matter what.  I could talk about everything that you've been through, and survived all with tha feeling of Groundhog Day.  I need to talk about "slow and steady wins tha race."  I could talk about the silent responses and the feeling of alienation.  I need to talk about you always have somebody with you, even if you can't see them.

Have I made my points clear.  Maybe I should have written this letter to you a few months ago.  I've always been with you since the day you were born.  On the basketball court, I mirrored your moves, just so you could see poetry in motion.  While driving in the car during those early mornings and late nights, I gave you company just so that you'll have someone.  All the times you celebrated in joy, to all the moments where you knelt down by your bedside and cried, I was with you.  It's been so difficult for the both of us how's it's been.  Even though you may have said the words, I was a true reflection of how you felt.

On this day, though I need to make my presence felt.  I need for you to know that now is when you don't give up.  Now is when you kick it up even to an higher level.  I know you have it in you, cuz I've seen you do it before.  Never let anybody dictate how much fun you have in ur life.  Never let how girls have treated you in the past, reflect upon all the dolls you now are encountering on a daily basis.  (I wish I could be you!)  I know what type of person you are, and even though some may follow, and some may not, u continue on...

Things have changed in ways that you can't see, but in my viewpoint it's been amazing.  Think about how far you've come.  I heard all those conversations that you had with yourself.  Now I'm telling you to make urself known, and show how you do things.  If you do that, I guarantee that others will see the fun and joy you have, and nobody, I mean nobody will be able to resist.  You've been in the background for so long, but now Sir Galaxia, is your time to show out.  I know it seems like I'm only around when you're doing good, and I seemingly fade away when your life turns dark, but I'm still around.  And I know that now is your time.

I'll say this, and then I'll let you go.  Remember when you stated this the other day...let me see, I recall you saying..

"No matter what happens or what's going on around us, there will come a time before this world passes when I will have my own era of time."

That's a huge statement.  But I believe in you, and know what you have to offer.  And just like the Rat Pack or Jordan or Jackson or Elvis, there will come a time when the spotlight will shine brighter than you can imagine in your direction.  And as crazy as it sounds, that time is now.  Only one catch...

Share your fun.  Don't ever be selfish and conceited.  If you do that, it'll all disappear.  If you remain true to love and that fun thang, u will see things happen that no one has ever seen come true.

All this is from my heart which dances from the same beat as yours.  I may never ever talk to you like this again, so keep this letter.  And even show it to some of your friends.  I only write once in a lifetime.  Now I will go back to being seen and not heard.

Remember I'm always with you.  So never be afraid...

Let's have fun.

Let's do this.

Sincerely,
Lil' Austino Galaxia.

But all my friends call me by something even more special to you now...

U.R. Shadow.

A Dream Deferred.

Poet Langston Hughes drawn by Winold Ross.

So I'm in the elevator of this, I guess upscale supermarket, and the elevator stops at the 2nd floor.  This guy comes in, with his headphones on, we give a slight head nod, all to no response...U know we can't stand to be inside of a silent elevator, it's just so ultra-weird.  But whatever....The elevator goes down to the main floor, and I promise you this guy is trying to bust out of the doors, before it opens!  It reminded me of like when you used to play those old Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo video games and the guy you were controlling would hit a wall, and u tried ur best to bust through but with all to no avail!  Think Super Mario running into that pedestal that he was supposed to jump on!  This guy was trying dude...the doors opened up, and he goes his way.  I begin to laugh, and continue to as I weave through a bevy of beauties, to get me some 2%.  If that guy only knew who we were...Oh well.

After waking up early this morning, to use the bathroom (Who does that?!!?), we ended up going back to sleep.  Oh, if I hada known what awaited my eyelids as I entered the peaceful darkness of the night.  Very shortly I was involved with a...let's just tell it..

I have no idea how to describe this dream other than it was a combination of a mystery thriller, with real people,  all with a group of characters from the new movie Frankenweenie.  Then you throw in my homeboys from college aka "The Dynasty" , guest appearances for a rapper, and the backdrop of the sandy sands of  South Beach, u had a crazy dream for real.  Here is what we recall:

I was hanging with my dudes on the corner of of Washington Ave. and like 17th street by the Citibank location down here in Tha Beach.  If u don't live in the area, this is just some crazy talk, but just making the scene.  I was talking with my guys, shooting tha breeze, and all of a sudden ur boy Fat Joe pulls up in this nice ride.  Hold on... this song was a classic!  So we chopping it up with Joey Crack, and I remember us waiting for a ride, where, I have no idea where we were going, but me and two of my boys decided to walk.  So we walking through South Beach and end up at this house.  I remember me and my boy Trizzy (One day I'll write about my guys so u can meet tha characters I speak about), we're inside this house and find ourself in a secret passageway.  I think this was weird and unique because u don't see that anymore in homes.  We walking in this secret passage way and get out and enter the kitchen.  That's where we find this animated looking mom sitting with this real life baby girl.  I know that somebody is like, u must have attended one of those famous snow parties down there in Miami last night talking all this wildness!!  Please don't get tha strait jacket ready just yet, save that for later...But this was what went on in our crazy mind.

These two women were at the table, one of cyber beauty, the other cut out of the real kind with such soft skin, sexy eyes, long hair, and then she was dressed like a school teacher but the exquisite type, u know, the kind you wished would have called you into the Principal's office and grabbed the paddle and span..It's a Sunday I can't be talking like that...yet!  So this girl was scintillating, and of course when I see or meet somebody of that nature, something was about to happen.  This was a dream so, I actually decided to make a move on this fine dame.  It's so amazing that the action of me getting my "Breath-O-Mite" spray out of my pocket seemingly didn't make the Director's Cut of this dream!  Anyway...so this gal is sitting at the table reading a newspaper, and I walked over across the room in a way that would make Bishop Don 'Magic'  Juan cry in joy, and you know began to...interact.  Don't know why I tell these stories so personal, but...it's just so embarrassing.  (Spoken with both my hands over my eyes!)

I go over and somehow, I didn't even waste no time.  I knew she wasn't gonna fall for any lines.  So we got straight to the "Peanut Butter-Jelly Jam...Peanut Butter-Jelly Jam" of this situation.  I put my hand over the back of her chair, and leaned in front of her to her right.  I said, "Hi" or something.  And I think before she could even give a "Hey" or a "Get out here creep", which woulda been wild since she's was the one sitting next to a Cyber Mom at the kitchen table!  So I was getting it in with her..."You're so beautiful."..."I would love to...", just all the talk that you would hear in a Jackie Collins novel. I continue and tell her how she's dress so "fashionably"  This girl had on like a European top, in gold color, like a, how to describe it...It was like a Chanel jacket that looks like a 70s floor rug, but she had her cleavage covered up.  After I told her that, she said, "Fashion is my name."  Think she mentioned she was involved in the industry...Cool...Cool.

So after this perfect exhibition of "How To Get Your Dream Girl"...Ah,I gotta let that quote sink in a little bit!!...Ok, I'm back!  Following all that she responded to me...I ain't even gonna front, this girl threw tha kid all off.  She had the nerve to tell me, something to the effect, that "I would love to go out with you, but the crouch on your shorts are 2 inches off to the right."  So I'm like, "What tha..."  I look down at my shorts, which were like these white Nike Team USA basketball shorts that I have, and she was right.  But she brushed me off so slick, though.  Like she doesn't date guys who have their pants or shorts lined up right.  What?  She must really been a South Beach girl, to be so vain, and to pass up the greatest opportunity since the California Gold Rush of 1849, just because a dude couldn't get the ranks in his army lined up?  But one of my soldiers were lined up though!

I walk away shaking my head, and go into this other room where the Cyber Mom was laying on the couch.  And I don't know what happened, but shorty was sleep and next thing I know it she jumped up and like transformed.  It half was turned me on, like "Moms looks good when she's mad!"  The other 27% of me was like, "Where is tha nearest exit, cuz I gotta get Alfred Hitchcock outta here!"  And from there, I don't recall too much...the thing about this dream was that it was long, and even though it had all these crazy twists and turns, I really didn't want it to end.  When I actually woke up this morning, I felt kind of sad just like calling into a radio station that's looking for caller number ten and u hear, "Sorry, #9"  or like going to K-mart or Wal-mart looking for product u saw in the weekly ad, only to find the shelves bare naked, and a stick-up pad littered with "Rain Check" coupons.  One it's not even raining, and what good is this gonna do when bout time u get the item in stock, they're gonna have the new Iphone 9 out anyway!  So what's the use...

Our life is getting more beautiful by the minute.  I smell the roses...and for some reason we are starting to see them as well...

This diary is a way of giving a stem from our heart to yours...

Hope u like.

Austino Galaxia.

Oh, and here's Mr. Hughes poem, "A Dream Deferred".  One of my favorites as a kid.

On The Go....

Ok.  This is gonna be a little rushed, just because we have a busy night to attend to.  So this is just gonna be a mini-version of our day....

My guy from Dish Network came to tha spot earlier today to hook up our stuff.  We were doing a little different thang since we didn't have time for TV and seeing how it would be without it.  Now things are starting to pick up, especially with the NBA season coming up, so got the "hookup" on today.  Really did, besides just the norm...So we have to thank The Big Cable Guy in the Sky for hooking us up.  Thanks the Lord for real...

We getting our showroom together in a very cool way.  The look is gonna end up being upscale slash beach slash hotel room.  A place you never wanna leave, which could be good or bad depending on the company. Cool.

Traveled over across town to get our contact lenses, or a follow up.  We have a new look coming up!  Everything is changing in our life, literally...and we have a new look in terms of glasses.  I like it, and we're gonna Galaxia Premiere it pretty soon here.  Gonna be fun!

Saw just some crazy stuff....

On 107th, we heard and then saw this fire truck, and I could sense that we actually saw like smoke, but from where?  Next thing I know it, I look to my right, and this car is burning up in a tremendous amount of flames.   Oh no!  This wasn't even funny, this car's hood and the ENTIRE car was just melting away.  The fire truck pulled in at an angle to block traffic, and the firemen just got to spraying away.  There were a lot of people out there watching it, we was driving by kinda slow, just because it was really crazy how that fire was being lit...This UM/Notre Dame football game is in Chicago?  Thought it was in South Bend, which is like tha crib (30 minutes from my hometown of Michigan City, IN)....but that was freaky.

We were ALL over this area...took a long route through Doral, then through Miami Gardens and Hialeah Gardens...I was driving and saw this sign for parking for the King of Diamonds, the world famous strip joint. I was like why is it all these folks over there, in tha middle of the day?  People parking in front of folks' lawns and sprinting over, then I realized that this weekend is Carnival Miami, the Caribbean street party.  So they must have had something going on over there.  But Miami is so big, I don't think folks really realize how spread out it is and all the sub-cities like Sweetwater, and Carol City, I saw so many small "spots" to try new food that it ain't even funny.  It's a major city, in every sense.  It's getting wilder by the moment, we just staying in that moment.

Not done.  Our next trip was to Fort Lauderdale, cuz I'm looking for these Funko toys.  Which are these small  toys of celebrities like Michael Jackson and Tupac, and The Beatles.  Check out this cute one I have to get from the movie, The Hangover.  But I ended up at this small place near Fort Lauderdale called Wilton Manors, Florida.   It reminded me so much of Union Pier, Michigan where my Grandma lives with the small store fronts, the hidden gems and restaurants.  May have to make a stop back over there...but we was everywhere...

We then took Sunrise Blvd. over to the Sunrise area, and I have never seen four sets of people work a stoplight either selling grapes, asking for money or just doing whatever.  This girl earlier was psedo asking for money cuz before I gave an answer she already was walking away!  Wild...But we hit up the city of Plantation...just a full day of travelling and seeing new things.

It's a lot more we can say, but I gotta get something to eat.  I really wanna talk more about some of the "sights" of today, but until next time...

Austino Galaxia.

Galaxia's Driving Map.

A Map of South Beach...We live in the middle off of 7th and Jefferson.  Blue is the  H2Oh.  Click pic to enlarge.

Enjoying the process...

Sometimes u just have to sit back and just laugh about all that is going on within ur life.  I know, even myself, we have to just not get so caught up with the end results, and lose focus of the super cool things and blessings that are going on around you.  I have the nerve to be like, "I don't want that...I really wanted that."  But u know what we just have to enjoy what the Big Hookup in the Sky is doing and just relax.  In saying that...we're anticipating some really cool things happening.

What to write about?  (We say that as we tap our fingernails...)

Not really sure what to jot down...

Huh.  Alright.

If you've read our diary, we try to do our best to get you inside, not only our mind, but also our heart at the moment.  We've also been doing our best to describe our life and lifestyle down here in Miami, and in our present home of South Beach.  Now, one of the consistent nuggets of dipping discussion within our diary is the a..I'm gonna try to do this off our head.  Alright, all the...a-t-r-o-c-i-o-u-s....did we get it right?  Oh yeah baby!!  (In our Austin Powers voice!)  All of this atrocious driving that goes on in a borderline manically, and flat out out of control way.  So, in this brief but from our heart diary post...We are gonna post some of our flat out pet peeves involving driving down here in tha M.I.A.  If u live down here, I'm sure u're gonna chuckle cuz u know that we're right about it.  If you don't, we'll get ready cuz it's wild down here.  We all may be sexy as an Aston Martin, but real talk...Driving stinks down here!  So buckle up!  Here we go:

- Have to start off with this one.  Turning on your turn signal, and making a turn in the opposite direction.  This literally sounds impossible to comprehend, but down here in tha Magic City, u see it as often as a Pitbull performance down here in Miami!  Speaking of which, I may hit up that New Year's Eve bash at the Triple A!  That's gonna be a party with some beautiful Senorit....let me stay on task.  How in the Green Lantern can you led the public one way only to go in an entirely different direction?  This ain't politics, ya dig!!  Please make sure u follow what you mean...then again, who in Miami actually does that anyway, right?!!  Oh, this is gonna be a wild one!  I love tha city, but I gotta tell it like it naturally is!  Galaxia..what's next?

- Going a minimum of 10 mph under the speed limit.  Boy, u talking about wanting to exercise a lost scene from The Fast and The Furious.  I drive pretty under control.  Sometimes I like to just chill, check out the "scenery" with my Ray Charles sunglasses on, so no girl...I mean...nobody can see where my eyes are staring.  But other times, I just get into that Miami, Italian ride mode where I just have to get my sportscar driving school on.  (I bet nobody can beat me in bumper cars at a County Fair!  Just sayin'...)  It absolutely borderline puts me into a Mick and Mike state of shock  how we can driving along, thinking about how to get our GTL on, and then party all on $4, when all of a sudden we hit a 45 and somebody is in the left lane hitting 35.  I mean, wha...?   I wrote about this once...It was a 15, and these folks slapping a five.  I know the speed limit is a limit...but please at least give a player a little help, will ya!!

- The Infamous Beatles Crossover.  What is that you may ask?  Well, I'm glad u want to know...That's when a car is in the far left lane on the highway, and out of nowhere cuts every car off at a diagonal angle, and crossover each well...Paul, John, George, and even Ringo Starr lane, just to hit the exit on the far right.  All the while almost hitting the yellow barrels in that triangle stripe, all in the name of getting to the local Regal Theater, to catch the opening credits in time, and to make sure that the concession stands aren't out of Twizzlers!  Is it worth crossing four lanes, and putting folks lives in danger, all so u can see the preview for the new Pixar movie?!  No.  It's not.  If u have to turn off, please get off of the Yoko Ono car pool lane (The lane where u're just along for the ride!  That's funny!), and ease ur way along the dotted stripes.  Just one time would ya!!

- Me drive slow, you get no pass!  My homeboy big John was telling me a few years ago about going north on I-95 and how this car was driving mad slow, and how he simply moved over to the next lane, but home skillet (A Western Omelet sounds good right now!), refused to accept the pass and actually sped up!  Now, I know I'm not the only one who's seen this religiously occurring   It's like, "Dude, I just wanna go home to watch what Christina Aguilera is wearing on The Voice, why do we have to play games?  Especially with you kids in tha car?"  With all apologies to my last diary post, but...Really?!!  I don't know if it's a pride thang, or a jealousy thang with nice looking cars, but whatever the case, not cool.  If you do the opposite of Pet Peeve number two on this list, we wouldn't have this problem!

- "Put your hands where my eyes can see!" I have to watch what I say here, but the guilty know who they are.  Has anyone been driving along, chilling and sometime racking or getting somebody to rack your brain...never mind....But u just humming along when a car, usually a Crown Victoria or a Charger with a horizontal thingy on the hood, that portays red and blue lights, the colors of our great nation...and this vehicle comes at u full speed and rides you just on a dare tip.  Meaning if you go or even worse, if u even think about going forty-1 in this forty, you're gonna hear that "Whoop, whoop", and that is gonna come from the ultimate tag team cuz u about to get either tha 411 read to you...either get charged with every unsolved mystery from Jimmy Hoffa to Bigfoot...or be featured in the next season of Cops' "Tased, Fased, Shirtless and Confused, Part 5" episode! Point made?  Good.

- Please look up.  I know I'm not the only one who's been at a red light behind somebody, and the light turns green and the person takes a 30-second DVR commercial skip break before they actually hit the gas pedal.  I once missed a light due to this four season symptom. It's becoming an epidemic.  Now I'm not as bad as some down here in the Magic City who, I don't even know how they do it, they must have some kind of mobile app that let's u know when the light is gonna turn green.  Cuz right when the light in in between red and green, literally in that split second of darkness, u hear the horn!  It's unbelievable.  It's a talent.  I wish I could have that person with me when I'm out with my friends or that special someone.  I could say more, but I won't...The point is, when the light turns green, please don't daydream about Mariah circa 1997, just move on.

- "Eh...I think that was a red light!"  It's dangerous as can be, but living down here in Miami, I just laugh...hard!  People down here in Miami have turned running stoplights into an art form that should be featured in Art Basel later this December down here!  I mean, somebody should have their own exhibit.  I know the city has tried to do their thang with those paparazzi flashes that go off after the lights turned red.  But guess what...the culprits have out smarted them and have out patient-ized the cameras!!  Now they wait even longer, out last the flashes, and still run the lights!  They've ran them from stand still positions, with a running start...I've seen folks be behind someone on the right lane...the light turns red...they go around the person to the lane on the left, and cross in front of the vehicle ahead just to make right turn!  Technically that's not running a red light, but that gives u a small insight to how folks do things down here in Me-am-mee!  There aren't no rules, and sadly the only color we see down here is green!  Wow...I gotta use that one in my "Love, Lust, and Greed" seminar next Fall!  Ha ha!! I need my own show for real!!  It's coming...promise.

- The U.  And no, I'm not talking about tha 'Canes (Sorry, Elizabeth!).  But I'm talking about the abrupt U-turn that has become a part of everyone's daily trek around tha city.  It's like watching the evening news and seeing the same story over and over and over again, just in a different location.  U-turns in alleys...folks driveways, dead end streets, busy intersections on a red light, when they see me walking...u name it, it happens down here.  South Beach is notorious as Biggie for it.  School buses...I'm telling you, it's krazy bro. I've been guilty of it, so I raise my hand on this one.  Just be careful, and make sure u don't hit over anybody's mailbox down here while attempting this Circus Du Soleil move.  And only do it when it's permitted.

Ok.  I could really go on, but for another time, as I being led to stop and show my registration which off course is just like the time on this diary post...

Expired!!

A Date With Galaxia.

One of the ultimate dating shows!

(This is kinda fun!  We're laying low on today, resting up for the fun that awaits!  But if u were to go out on a date with us on today...10.2.12...the conversation will include some tidbits like this!  Enjoy.)

A guy riding his bike with a box full of Dole oranges on the handlebars?!  I mean...

This dude running through traffic on Kendall Drive in which was semi-automatically followed by a "click" of me locking the doors to my ride.

A great article in The New York Times about the overstated use of the word, "Really?"  I mean all that I can say to that is...well...Really?!!!

How in the Galaxia can I gain 1.4 pounds off good weight?  Have we become that vain where a number means we're healthy more than how we feel?

There's so much music out here that it don't even make any sense.  I wish somebody will dig into their crates and play real music.

Ooops!  That's the problem right there...folks don't have crates anymore!

Can I honestly, I mean honestly come up with five people I would actually love to meet someday?

Ok, let's give it a try....

We'll go with...Kylie Minogue...Let's see....Andre Leon Talley.  I know folks don't know who that is, so here's the Wiki on him....This is tough.  How about...Denzel Washington...Richard Branson.  And...I need a another girl...How about Ms. Sophia Loren.  That's our list...at least on today.  That could change though...

Miami has to be the only place where it rains when the sun is out isn't it!!

It also has to be the only place I know where a person can cuss somebody out in Spanish, and then moments later are following up with a kiss!

If I constantly mentioning that I need a Personal Assistant, does that mean my life is ultra-complicated or that I just don't know how to handle it!

Here's a note to ALL the beautiful girls in Miami...

I may not show it always, but I notice every..thing.

From you new hair due all the way to this ever popular glitter fingernail polish.

Here's another nugget..Just because I don't turn your direction, doesn't mean I don't see or feel the eyes of an angel upon me.

Whatever u do, don't ever, EVER...ask somebody who's trying to make it to the top heap if they are still doing what they do...Like, "Are u still trying to be a model?"..."Do u still do that dance thang?"..."Are u still writing?" (Cough, Cough!)  If u ask, that can sometimes let that person know that nobody's watching them or that they haven't reach the mountaintop yet.  Be careful...

This may be a tad out of line, but I really would like to see how it feels to where a pair of pumps!

In private.

Or perhaps part of a private show.

Is this mohawk-rooster haircut becoming overplayed?

Last week I was obsessed with everything that had to do with the 50's.  From the style of dress to movie stars...

Now I'm taking it back to the...80's.

The characters that live here in South Beach are worth a reality show in and of itself.

Girl, u may look hot as the Hollywood, but walking in the middle of the street down here in Miami....Don't u know we are notorious for routinely performing a "Hit and Run."

Especially us guys on Friday nights!

One phone call can make your day.

One text can ruin your week..

I still can't get over the fact that there ain't one White Castle down here in Miami?!!

Can shopping at thrift and consignment stores scar ur shopping habits for the rest of your life?

If another person coming up I-95 North, stays in the right lane until they get to the 395-Miami Beach exit, without the intention of actually taking this "Exit Only" lane to the beach, I might just start "water pistol" whooping somebody!!  Ugggh!!!...

How can I go from slamming 'Whoppers', giant "Pixy Stix'...M&M 'Crispy' candies...all the while sticking Snickers bars in the freezer to now a brotha can't even eat 2 Reese's Pieces without breaking out in a pimple?!!

And we all know how we feel about any distortion to our "Moneymaker"!

Speaking of which...Ludacris with the cornrows or Luda with the fade?

I'm learning why they call it, "Being Single"...

Cuz u literally feel like u're the only one in the Galaxia who's actually...single.

While we're at it...

Just because somebody says they have a boy/girlfriend...doesn't mean they actually have a boyfriend or girlfriend...

According to what my Grandpa told me on occasions, three things to evaluate your relationship:

Are you happy?

Are you Satisfied?

How far apart are you and your partner walk when the both of you are in public?

Sometimes a "No" is the best thing that could ever happen to you.

The Heat are gonna be mad tough this year....

But... so are the Lakers.

If the Dolphins ever have a "Dream Team" atomosphere at the stadium...this city will be literally the craziest place to visit in sports!

I'm gonna write til 6 p.m. and then I'm done.

I know people look at me strange when I tell them the hardest thing to find when u first move to Miami is...

A Wal-Mart.

It's not what you have, but how you work it.

Am I the only person in South Beach who's noticing people staring at them while they're getting undressed? With all the eye candy around, I don't think so but I'm talking...

That includes guys and girls.

I text my boy Laronn this the other day...I was watching an old episode of the cartoon Fat Albert.  And the episode was on this cat named "Suede Simpson" and how he smells and never takes a shower, and how not to judge.  But how in the name of Dial soap, can Fat Albert and the crew talk about somebody stanking and not wanting to be around them, when every episode I see them playing around in a junkyard, mind you, and I have to watch them rock the same clothes every rip?!!

There ain't too many things worse than watching your cell phone do cartwheels while hitting the concrete.

Especially when you don't have a protective case.

Amazon.com rocks!

I didn't know that the area code (786) spells S-U-N on the phone dial.

Then how come everybody, but Metro PCS trips when u ask if ur new number can get that area code?

Jokes aside, I seriously had a taste for some Play-Doh earlier today!

Stop laughing, it's true!

If I had one call to make to somebody to get me out of jail, immediately, who would I call?

The new vernacular of the Fall:

"Overrated."

What does the phrase, "Getting It In" really mean?!!

Ooops again!  I aplogize  for using that R-word!

This was a day in our mind.

Now u know why I'm so crazy...

And why I write!

Austino Galaxia.
And that's with a minute to spare! (5:59 P.M.!)
