Throwback Week Begins...

Ok, I feel it.  Today is the first post in our throwback week.  No negative energy here...none! I don't care what u've been going through u better smile when looking through our site this week.  Today is about old gadgets and games.

Remember these game shows:
-Shop Til You Drop
-Supermarket Sweep
-Win, Lose or Draw
-Name That Tune
-$25,000 Pyramid
-Concentration
- Buzz!
- JEOPARDY (during celebrity week)
- Family Double Dare!

Or why don't we play with these games or toys anymore:
- Simon
- Fisher-Price ViewMaster (Stand up if u had the Disney ones!! Paula u better stand up!)
- Rubik's Cube
- Pogs
- Double Trouble
- Tiger Electronic Handheld Games
- Sega CD
- My Buddy
- Monophonic Ringtones (That JLo "Waiting For Tonight" used to be bumping!)
- Wheel of Fortune on Floppy Disks (Who thought Vanna was cute on the PC?!)

This ain't a game but why did Pizza Hut get rid of their Book It program, don't make no sense...you read them Scholastic Books then get a personal pan sometimes with that sausage..what!?! Ok, Back to the list:

- Hit Stix (My brother Ant Skeez was the hood's version of ?uestlove on them)
- Wrestling Buddy ( The Ultimate Warrior was the best looking one)
- Starting LineUp Figures (Hate him or love him we got the Barry Bonds collection at the crib)
- Sony MiniDisc Players
- TVs with PIP (Picture in Picture)...ol' skool ones
- Quizzard

What the heck, I like this here's for u video game freaks out there:
- ToeJam and Earl
- Arch Rivals
- The Legend of Zelda
- Mike Tyson's Punch Out (Arcade version off the yooza!)
- Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Yeay!...."Tails" makes his debut!)
- Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (If anyone has this game for the Genesis holla @ me immediately!)
- Doom
- Super Mario Kart on SNES
- NBA All Star Challenge ( on the Gameboy)
- Shinobi
- Bases Loaded
- Batman (Gameboy edition)
- Ms. Pac Man
- GamePro Magazine
Speaking of which I miss the Gameboy and Sega's Game Gear.  That Game Gear had that TV adaptor that u could buy.  Nintendo's Gameboy had all the games and that carrying case where u put those wires into.  Fun stuff and that's just the beginning.

This is what's on our mind, so Cee-lo it, we gonna have fun this week.  The posts of this upcoming Throwback week with focus on:  Phrases we used to say (that's gonna be fun), TV Shows 2 (click on the archives at the bottom of the page to see our 1st version), Food from the past and a whole post to... throwback fashion (and girls you will be included too!).  Finally, we gonna REALLY take this thang back and giggle, giggle, and giggle some more.

I'm not the only one who's had a ruff day or go at it, might as well sit back and laugh right.  This is what this site is about.

Toodles,
Austino.
